ESRC visits Wicomico New Teacher Training

SALSIBURY, Md. — The Eastern Shore Reading Council (ESRC) joined a large group of bright minds entering the teaching field Thursday, August 24th at James M. Bennett High School. The annual Wicomico County Public School New Teacher Training commenced with a section of time allocated to share about  the districts’ ongoing partnership with the ESRC.

Membership Chair Magic Mapp and President Lizanne Wallace shared the Council’s vision for literacy within its local communities and how they are sharing literature with children of all ages through the many activities it offers. Furthermore, all individuals in attendance received information on how to join the council and its member benefits.

Individuals who would like further information on joining may download the ESRC’s membership form or reach out to Mapp (mmapp@wcboe.org)  or Wallace (liwallace@thesalisburyschool.org) via email.
